Mates on Crates: feat. Frank Morra
G'day
Those in the know, know where to go.
Today we released our latest episode of Mates on Crates featuring my mate, Frank Morra, co-owner of Dante Italian Sandwiches. Born and bred in East Vancouver, Frank has been shaping the city’s Italian food scene for over 20 years. From Via Tevere to Don't Argue Pizza and Caffe Soccavo, he and his brother have created some of Vancouver’s most beloved Italian spots. Their latest venture, Dante, has quickly become the hottest sandwich shop in the city. With lineups starting at 11:01 AM, you know they’re doing something right. It was a pleasure chatting with Frank and getting his take on Vancouver’s food scene—check out the episode below.
Each time we do a Mates on Crates interview, our guests share up to twenty of their favourites with us. For each episode, only a handful of those favourites make it into the final 60-second cut. In order to highlight all of our guest’s favourites, we are happy to share the full list of favourites right here.
