We’re excited to have just launched our latest episode of Mates on Crates, featuring Lucious Mani, Maître D’ at June, and Co-Owner of Maître D’ Solutions. Lucious has become one of Vancouver's most recognisable hospitality professionals, earning a reputation for creating genuine connections before guests have even sat down. Originally from Tacoma, Washington, Lucious moved to Canada in 2007 and spent more than a decade ranching in the BC Interior before returning to the Lower Mainland. After years of building relationships at the front door of some of Vancouver's busiest venues, he now serves as Maître D' at June while also launching The Maître D' Solutions, a hospitality training company focused on raising premium hospitality experiences to brand new heights.
It was a pleasure to sit down with Lucious to chat about his journey from ranch life and football to hospitality, the philosophy behind exceptional guest service, his vision for Maître D' Solutions, and all of Lucious's favourite spots.
