Lucia, the newest venture from the team behind Social YVR and Harbour Oyster & Bar, officially opens its doors on June 13, 2025, delivering a refined yet approachable Italian dining experience in the heart of Mount Pleasant. Led by Vancouver-born chef Zachary Steele - whose resume includes Carlino and Dockside - Lucia blends traditional Italian sensibilities with bold West Coast ingredients to craft dishes designed for sharing and lingering over.

Expect standout menu items such as spinach & mascarpone tortelli, wood-fired pizzas, slow-braised meats, and lamb ribs with pistachios, all served alongside a thoughtful cocktail list featuring classic Negronis and innovative spritzes using local spirits. The space that was most recently Anthem Sound Lounge and before that Smitty's Oyster House has been impressively transformed. With seating for approximately 50 guests in a warm, buzzy space, Lucia invites guests to slow down and savor every bite, whether for a leisurely lunch or late-night dinner.
