Gigi’s, the latest concept from the team behind Ask for Luigi, opened on June 24th, 2025 with a heartfelt mission: to recreate “summers in the Italian countryside,” where simple meals, plentiful wine, and multigenerational storytelling around Nonno Luigi’s table come to life. Guests can prepare to enjoy classic pastas like cacio e pepe, bolognese and alla vodka, along with pizzas, antipasti and a limited selection of hearty mains like Rossdown Chicken. The headliner though is surely the Burrata Bar which features four mesmeric burrata combinations.

A perfect addition to this growing part of the Lower Mainland, Gigi’s opens in the brand new TriCity Pavilion pavilion, alongside another Vancouver favourite: Nemesis Coffee. The TriCity Pavilion has been artfully designed as an “immersive community space, coupling warm hospitality with acclaimed food & beverage service.”

Open Monday through Thursday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., closing at midnight on weekends, Gigi’s invites diners to gather, laugh, and linger over plates rooted in family tradition and Italian warmth. Expect a vibrant social atmosphere, a menu rich in nostalgia, and the heartfelt hospitality the founders are known for in Vancouver’s dining scene.
