TOUK Launches Lunch Service, Bringing Contemporary Cambodian Flavours to Downtown Days

TOUK, Canada’s first contemporary Cambodian restaurant from Top Chef Winner Chef Chanthy Yen, is officially adding lunch service starting Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 1152 Alberni Street in downtown Vancouver. Already established as one of the city’s most distinctive dinner destinations, TOUK is now bringing its modern Cambodian point of view into the midday space with a menu designed for both quick power lunches and more relaxed afternoon meals.

The new lunch menu balances Cambodian classics with Chef Yen’s more contemporary signatures. Traditional dishes include Saraman, a braised beef in spiced coconut curry, Mee Krahom, stir-fried rice noodles with pork in tamarind and Kampot peppercorn sauce, and Beef Lok Lak with tenderloin, BC tomatoes, lettuce, and shaved fennel. Guests will also see favourites from the dinner menu, including Chicken Wings, Twa Ko, and Prawn Nantua, alongside more playful daytime comfort dishes like Roasted Chicken Leg with Koh Kong sauce, Ktiss Pappardelle with duck ragù and black truffle, and the lunchtime signature, the “I Didn’t Want a Burger but…” burger with caramelized onions and mimolette on house-baked brioche.

Lunch will run Tuesday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with TOUK’s full cocktail and wine program also available during the day. Dinner service continues in the evening, and reservations are now open, positioning TOUK as a true all-day destination on Alberni for diners looking for something more original, flavour-driven, and personal in the downtown core.
