SUYO’s 2026 “Con Amigos” Series BeginS with an already Sold-Out Pluvio collab Dinner
SUYO Modern Peruvian, the Michelin-recommended Mount Pleasant restaurant led by Chef Ricardo Valverde, is bringing back its Suyo con Amigos chef collaboration series for a third edition in 2026. The format is simple and compelling: four one-night-only dinners that invite some of British Columbia’s most notable chefs into the SUYO kitchen for special collaborative menus rooted in creativity, exchange, and shared hospitality. The series begins with SUYO x Pluvio on April 7, 2026, featuring Chef Warren Barr, and that opening dinner is already sold out.
From there, the 2026 lineup continues with:
Chef Billy Nguyen of Rabbit Rabbit on June 18
Chef Bobby Milheron of Folietta on September 10
Chef Peter Ho of Sumibiyaki Arashi on November 2.
Details for the remaining dinners will be released ahead of each event but what you need to know is that the series is one of the more exciting chef-collab runs in the city this year, pairing Valverde’s modern Peruvian point of view with chefs known for distinctly different but equally respected culinary voices.
For anyone who has followed SUYO’s rise, the series feels like a natural extension of the restaurant’s identity. SUYO has built its reputation around contemporary Peruvian cooking, ambitious cocktails, and a thoughtful sense of place, and Suyo con Amigos turns that same spirit outward by making room for collaboration. The April dinner may already be gone, but the rest of the year offers three more chances to catch these limited, chef-driven nights as details are released.
