For wine lovers in Vancouver, some of the city's most memorable experiences happen outside of the traditional restaurant model. This weekend, Dachi is hosting a thoughtfully curated wine pop-up, highlighting exceptional bottles by Flower Day Wines, seasonally-inspired dishes from Dachi’s culinary team, and a welcoming atmosphere backdropped by a floral stem bar from Eddie Blooms.
Flower Day Wines is a boutique Richmond-based winery operated by James Miziolek and Patrick Robertson. The duo trained in Georgia before returning to BC with a mindset rooted in locality. Known for their approachable philosophy and hyper-local grapes sourced from a narrow range between Richmond to Chilliwack, their products are naturally fermented, unrefined, and unfiltered skin contact wines that range from pink to amber and everything in between. With a unique collection to choose from, guests will be encouraged to ask questions, try something unfamiliar, and enjoy wine as part of a shared experience rather than a technical exercise.
Meanwhile, Emily from Eddie Blooms will be taking the floral theme to the next level with a stem bar popup. With buckets of flowers on site, guests will be encouraged to flex their artistic side and craft a bouquet to bring home, or snag a ready to go arrangement for those who trust Emily’s vision a bit more than their own.
