Bam Bam: Nemesis / Dope Bakehouse x Fried Chicken & Cocktails?!
BAM BAM BY NEMESIS
Neighborhood: Downtown
Address: 160 West Georgia Street
Downtown Vancouver is about to get a lot more fun. Bam Bam, the new concept from Jess Reno and the team behind Nemesis and Dope Bakehouse, is opening on April 1, 2026 at 160 West Georgia Street, bringing with it a lineup that feels engineered to win people over fast: fried chicken, donuts, coffee, and cocktails all under one roof. It is the kind of combination that feels a little dangerous in the best way, especially coming from a group that already knows how to build cult favourites.
What makes Bam Bam especially exciting is that it does not sound like a one-note novelty. This has the makings of a place people will want at multiple points in the day: coffee and something sweet in the morning, fried chicken when the craving hits, and cocktails when downtown starts to loosen its tie. There is an immediate confidence to the concept. It is playful, a little indulgent, and very easy to imagine becoming one of those places people talk about with a bit of disbelief that no one did it sooner.
During its opening phase, Bam Bam is expected to run daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. beginning April 1. More permanent hours and specials will likely follow, but even on first glance, this feels like one of spring’s most magnetic new openings.
