Mates on Crates Feat. Nick Devine
G’day,
Those in the know, know where to go.
We’re excited to have just launched our latest episode of Mates on Crates, featuring Nick Devine, Co-Founder and Creator of Edna’s Non-Alcoholic Cocktails in Vancouver. Edna’s is an award-winning non-alcoholic cocktail company creating premium, bar-quality canned cocktails made with real juice, citrus shrub, organic agave, and custom spirit extracts designed to deliver the flavour, balance, and complexity of a true cocktail. Nick is a longtime hospitality veteran who began working in pubs in England as a teenager, spent time behind bars in London and Soho, and went on to help shape Vancouver’s cocktail scene through rooms like George, The Cascade Room, El Camino’s, The Union, Habit, and Charlie’s. It was a pleasure to sit down with Nick to chat about Edna’s humble beginnings, the growth of the non-alcoholic category, the company’s success in Canada and the US, the launch of the new margarita mix, and all of Nick’s favourite spots.
Each time we do a Mates on Crates interview, our guests share up to twenty of their favourites with us. For each episode, only a handful of those favourites make it into the final two minute cut. In order to highlight all of our guest’s favourites, we are happy to share the full list of favourites right here.
