We’re excited to have just launched our latest episode of Mates on Crates, featuring Marquella Uhrig, Head Chef at Lucia in Vancouver, BC. Located on Main Street in Mount Pleasant, Lucia is a modern Italian restaurant built around fresh pasta, pizza, focaccia, family-style sharing, and a new neighbourhood-focused menu. Marquella recently took over the kitchen after working through some of Vancouver’s favourite Italian rooms, including Savio Volpe, Fred’s, Locanda dell’Orso, and Giusti. It was a pleasure to sit down with Marquella to chat fresh pasta, Lucia’s evolving menu, the upcoming patio, and all of Marquella’s favourite spots.
