We’re excited to have just launched our latest episode of Mates on Crates, featuring Kevin Day, owner of Peya on East Hastings, Vancouver. Peya opened in 2024 and has quickly become a standout additions to the East Hastings dining scene, combining bold Indian-inspired cuisine with one of the city's most creative cocktail programs. Guests can expect inventive dishes, thoughtful hospitality, and an inclusive beverage menu featuring both exceptional cocktails and carefully crafted non-alcoholic options. Kevin has helped shape the restaurant from day one, building a destination that celebrates creativity, community, and collaboration.

It was a pleasure to sit down with Kevin to chat about Peya's first year in the books, the evolution of the East Hastings neighbourhood, the restaurant's exciting new cocktail menu, Brewery & The Beast, as well as all of Kevin and Chris’s favourite spots in the city.
