We’re excited to have just launched our latest episode of Mates on Crates, featuring Dom Morra, Co-Owner at Via Tevere Pizzeria on Victoria Drive. Via Tevere’s OG location has been serving traditional Neapolitan pizza for 14 years, drawing a loyal following with its off-the-beaten-path destination feel, wood-fired pies, and time-honoured approach to simple ingredients done properly. Dom, alongside his brother Frank, has helped build one of Vancouver’s most recognizable local pizza groups through Via Tevere, Straight Brooklyn Pizza, Dante, and more, all while staying rooted in family tradition and a deep respect for classic Italian food. It was a pleasure to sit down with Dom to chat pizza traditions, family influence, growing across Vancouver and Penticton, and all of Dom’s favourite spots.
