Bar Asra officially opened its doors on April 15, 2025, bringing globally inspired small plates and craft cocktails to Vancouver’s South Granville neighborhood at 1480 W 11th Avenue. Led by chefs Kanwardeep Ahluwalia and Baldeep Singh, the menu draws influence from Thai, Japanese, Yemeni, and Italian cuisines, offering inventive dishes like tuna crudo with jasmine rice truffle and lamb quiche in Ceylon paratha. The interior features warm wood, lush greenery, and curved architectural elements, setting a stylish yet relaxed tone for evening dining.

Open Tuesday through Sunday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. with Happy Hour from 3–5 p.m., Bar Asra joins a vibrant stretch just off Granville Street, next to Mazahr Kitchen.
