We’re excited to have just launched our latest episode of Mates on Crates, featuring Adam Mills, Co-Founder and Director of Sales and Marketing at Four Winds Brewing in Tsawwassen. Four Winds opened their doors in 2013 as a family business founded by Adam, his two brothers, and their dad. Now in its 14th year, the brewery operates its original production facility and taproom in Delta alongside the Four Winds Beach House in Tsawwassen, a 212-seat destination inspired by the classic European beer hall and given a distinctly West Coast treatment. The Beach House features a large patio, an on-site small-batch brewery, approachable pub classics and more elevated dishes, as well as a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. Four Winds has also collected numerous awards over the years, most recently earning a gold medal at the 2026 World Beer Cup for Operis, its Brett Saison.
It was a pleasure to sit down with Adam to chat about Four Winds’ evolution, the Beach House, brewing techniques, branding, the family business, and all of Adam’s favourite spots.
